It has been an excellent month for fishing. The jetties were still holding plenty of Tarpon and big redfish. The flounder bite was great with plenty of keepers, the bait of choice was a finger mullet. We were also fishing quite a bit in the backwater with great catches of slot Redfish and Speckled Trout along with Black Drum and Flounder. There were plenty of trout in the upper slot along with quite a few that were over 19 inches. As the water starts to cool the fishing is only going to get better.
