Despite the Cold Weather

Despite some chilly days, the fishing has been quite productive! We’ve been landing some impressive redfish and speckled trout. On the milder days when we could get out on the water, the fish have been eager to bite.

While live shrimp has been challenging to find due to the colder water temperatures, mud minnows have proven to be an excellent alternative. Fishing with a floating cork over structure has been effective, and using a 1/4-ounce jighead on the bottom has also yielded great results.
