Great Day!

My husband and I had a great day of fishing! Very successful catching speckled trout. We took the fillets across the street to the Salty Pelican and they prepared them for us. Nothing better than eating what you catch. Brian was knowledgeable and fun. He has the cleanest fishing boat you will see!

We went on a charter with Captain Brian for our son’s spring break. My son is 7 and LOVES to fish and Captain Brian was great with him and he had the best time. Captain Brian took us all around unfortunately the wind was bad that day making for a hard day of fishing but he never quit. We did make some catches and a couple of really big fish that he cleaned for us and referred us to the Salty Pelican who cooked the fish perfectly. It was a great time, he is a great person and we had a lot of fun. We would definitely go with Captain Brian again and refer friends / family to him.

My seven-year-old son and I went fishing with Captain Brian and we had a great time. Brian was very patient with my son (and with me). Within the first 15-20 minutes we caught three keeper trout and we continued to catch fish all day. Most importantly my son can’t wait to go fishing again. I recommend SemperFi to everyone.

We fished for an afternoon with Capt. Soucy and it was a great experience! Capt. Soucy runs a seamless charter and is a great guy to boot! We were on the Trout, Flounder, and Redfish all afternoon and Capt. Soucy gave us great tips for landing The Amelia Slam with his years of experience fishing those waters. Capt. Soucy was great with my young boys and has a great sense of humor as well. His 24′ Young is an incredible boat to fish from and his gear is some of the best I have used on a charter. Capt. Soucy was just as excited as we were to land the Amelia Slam and he kept our gear rolling the entire time. When we return to Amelia Island/Fernandina we will definitely fish with Capt. Soucy again, this charter was the highlight of our trip!

Amazing Trip – Can’t Wait To Go Back!!!

We were fortunate enough to be able to book a 1/2 day fishing trip with Semper Fi Fishing Charter and Captain Brian. I can not say enough about this amazing experience. My wife booked this trip for myself and my 9 year old son and was thrilled with how easy and responsive Captain Brian was. We have fished in the Keys and really did not know what to expect. We arrived for our trip, hit the water and started catching fish. Captain Brain was absolutely wonderful with my son and made us both feel like we were out on the water with someone we had known for years. The fact that we caught 40 – 50 lb. reds didn’t hurt either. The trip ended with my son catching a 3 ft. shark and every penny was worth the smile on his face. We will be back next year and can’t wait to fish with Captain Brian again! Thank you so much for the awesome time!

I was looking for a fishing charter that would be good for three adults and my nine year old son. I came across Capt Brian and based on his reviews booked a half-day charter. He was outstanding from the start. Capt Brian was an outstanding fishing guide and really took care of us. He was great with my nine-year old and we had blast. We have been coming to Amelia Island for several years spending a lot of time at the marina watching the boats and guides go out and come back in. We liked seeing Captain Brain and always said one day we would book a trip with him. Well we finally did and I have to say it was the best experience we have ever had on the island. True Professional

I’m an experienced freshwater fisherman with very little experience in the salt, but I wanted to do a little fishing on my brief unplanned trip to Amelia Island in February. I called Capt. Brian for some general info. He returned my call promptly and was able to recommend the best day and time for a trip given the weather condition and tide schedule. Luckily, I was able to get in a short trip with him. His boat was clean and comfortable. He provided quality, well-maintained tackle and fresh bait.
